Your data, clearly explained.

Remote Recordings allows you to input, upload, or store in our service any audio recording, text, and other data that you choose. We refer to that information as “Content”. We also collect and receive the following types of information.

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information. Some services require or allow you to create an account before you can access them. As part of registering for an account, we may collect information such as your name, username, email address, and avatar photo.
• Billing and Payment Information. In order to purchase a service, you may need to provide billing name, billing contact details, and payment instrument details.
• Communications and Submissions. You may choose to provide us with information when you communicate with us, fill out forms, respond to surveys, provide feedback, post comments, participate in promotions, or submit information through our services.

1.2 Information collected when you use our services

• Usage information. We collect information about how you interact with our services, but none of this information identifies you personally.
• Device information. We collect information from and about the device you use to access our services, including browsers, app version, operating system versions, network information, and device identifiers.
• Diagnostic information.
• Cookies. Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users, improve the browsing experience, and support site improvements. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

If you are an individual from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for collecting and using your personal information depends on the information concerned and the context in which we collect it.

• We need the information to perform a contract with you, such as providing the core functionalities of the App.
• The processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, such as analytics to improve the App and fraud prevention.
• We have your explicit consent to do so, such as for serving personalized advertisements where legally required.

Any information or data the Application collects may be stored locally on your device, and we may obtain information as a result of the data being sent to our servers from the Application. Additionally, you may share data between the Device and other devices via Bluetooth. You may also share data using the Application’s Share function.

Voice Recorder may automatically collect certain information using third-party programs to help us understand how users use the Application, but none of this information identifies you personally. Voice Recorder may use Google Firebase Analytics or similar services to collect such information. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

To support the free version of the Application, we use third-party vendors, including Google through AdMob and Meta through Audience Network, to serve advertisements. The Application utilizes Google Firebase Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, which provides general demographic and interest information about users. None of this information identifies you personally.

This data may be used to serve advertisements more relevant to your interests. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising by visiting https://www.google.com/settings/ads. From time to time, other third-party companies may also serve ads and collect certain anonymous usage data when you use the Application.

We may use Google Analytics for Firebase and related Firebase services to understand how users interact with the app, measure engagement, troubleshoot issues, and improve the Services. Analytics and diagnostic data may include events such as app opens, session activity, feature usage, device and app version information, technical performance, and error-related information.

Where required by law, we will request consent before enabling analytics that depend on consent.

Voice Recorder supports on-device transcription. When you use on-device transcription, audio and transcription processing may occur locally on your device rather than being uploaded to our servers for that specific transcription task.

However, some related app functions may still process technical or diagnostic data, and cloud-connected features remain governed by this Privacy Policy.

Voice Recorder may offer AI-powered features powered through Firebase AI Logic, Firebase Vertex AI, or Google Cloud. When you choose to use those features, the content necessary to generate the requested result may be transmitted to and processed through cloud infrastructure in order to return the output.

This may include transcript text, short prompts or instructions, selected metadata, and other content you intentionally submit for processing.

We do not treat all local recordings as automatically sent to cloud AI systems. Cloud AI processing occurs only where the feature requires it and you invoke that feature.

If you use Remote Recording, your recordings and related metadata may be uploaded and stored in cloud infrastructure operated through Firebase and Google Cloud, including services such as Cloud Storage for Firebase and Firebase Realtime Database.

We use backend rules, authentication, and access-control mechanisms intended to limit access to authorized users and service operations. Firebase documents that Storage and Realtime Database can be protected by Firebase Authentication and Security Rules that control read and write access.

We use reasonable electronic, personnel, and physical measures to protect information from loss, theft, alteration, or misuse. However, even the best security measures cannot fully eliminate all risks.

We cannot guarantee that only authorized persons will view your information, and we are not responsible for third-party circumvention of privacy settings or security measures.

Depending on your location, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and certain U.S. states such as California may have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: request that we delete your personal data and cloud recordings.
• Restriction and Objection: object to or request that we restrict processing.
• Data Portability: request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Our Services are not targeted at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.

If you learn that a child has provided us with information in violation of this Policy, please contact us as indicated below.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
